Project Name: Fat Controller

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Scope: Pavilion, 2011

The Fat Controller is located at N 15th Street: adjacent to the off-ramp of Vine St. Expressway and the Philadelphia Inquirer. Named after a character in Will Self's My Idea of Fun, and a figure in the Thomas the Tank Engine stories, the Fat Controller is made of a network of antennae and circuits creating a febrile web of communication.
